Music

We believe in Chinese-language pop music.  We believe in Chinese singers.

We believe sad songs should still leave room for hope.

Korean, Western, and Japanese influences are already part of the Asian pop landscape. But influence is different from imitation.

Each project begins with extensive research into the artist: their voice, personality, influences, ambitions, and dreams.  That can mean reviewing hundreds of reference songs before narrowing the creative direction.

From there, the production process moves entirely in-house through concept, composition, arrangement, recording, editing, and production.

We are collaborators. We work closely with artists and labels, and we understand that strong creative work requires flexibility throughout the process.

Our aim is to build songs with musical depth, strong identity, and the substance to show that Chinese-language pop can stand alongside the best music being made today.

Brand Strategy

We begin with the individual artist before defining the image.

Our process looks at personality, ambition, audience, cultural context, competitive landscape, and how an artist wants to be understood. From there, we develop positioning and creative direction that can guide music, visual identity, communication, styling, and long-term development.

The goal is not to manufacture a persona. It is to clarify what is already distinctive about the artist and build a coherent system around it.

Our approach is informed by decades of brand strategy experience across advertising, positioning, and global brand development.

Film

We believe in creating Chinese characters with agency, intelligence, contradiction, and presence—people who can carry a story without being reduced to familiar stereotypes or imported archetypes.

We believe in strong, intelligent women with opinions who can exist fully within traditional Chinese culture without being defined primarily by suffering, sacrifice, or submission.

We believe class should not determine the dignity, intelligence, or moral weight of a character.  A man can be rough, flawed, funny, romantic, or angry without being reduced to vulgarity, coercion, or emptiness.

We believe character is shaped by family, values, history, relationships, and the emotional circumstances surrounding each choice.

We believe emotion is strongest when it grows naturally from character and consequence, rather than being imposed on the story.

Our aim is to create characters and stories with enough specificity, scale, and cultural confidence to stand on their own within both Chinese and global cinema.
